Havdallah Cards

Havdallah cards are a nice way to celebrate – they are useful and fun for the kids.    They can come either in the basic card style, as a double sided sheet card or as a folded tent card with Havdallah itself on the inside.

As an additional option, Havdallah cards can come with a small bag of besamim attached – you’ll never need to worry about the kids accidentally dropping it and the small cloves spilling all over the floor!

Sizes and Styles

All Havdallah Cards can be made in either a water resistant paper card or in a more resiliant plastic.  The styles for Havdallah Cards depend highly on the Nussach, since the Ashkenazi version of Havdallah is short by comparison to the Sephardi version.

Ashkenazi (Ashkenaz /Sepharad)

       

Standard Havdallah Cards come in two basic styles and three sizes:

• Basic Card Style – a double sided sheet card
  • Small – 3.5″ x 4″
  • Medium – 4.4″ x 5″
  • Large – 5.25″ x 6″

• Tent Style Folded Card – this card can stand up with a photo or decorative cover and Havdallah on the inside
  • Small – 2″ x 3.5″
  • Medium – 2.5″ x 4.4″
  • Large – 3″ x 5.25″

Sephardi (Eidot Hamizrach)

Standard Havdallah Cards come in a basic bi-fold card style with two sizes:

• Bi-Fold Card Style Havdallah Cards
  • Standard Print – 5″ x 7″ folded card
  • Large Print – 6″ x 9″ folded card
